Enock Danso Okyere

Project Officer

Enock is a Natural Resource Management professional with over 7 years of experience in the NRE sector working with NGOs, the Forestry Commission and the timber industry.  As such, he brings multifaceted perspectives to EcoCare Ghana’s work. In his work with Ghana Forestry Commission’s Forest Services Department (FSD), he managed the relations between various community stakeholders and logging rights holders and ensure field logging complied with legality standards. During his time at Tropenbos Ghana, another leading NRE NGO in Ghana, he supported [ Community Forestry Management Project (CFMP), Modified Taungya System (MTS) and biometric registration of CFMP and MTS farmers]. During his work with Ghana Primewood Company, he worked in forest-fringe communities, monitoring the company’s socio-economic impact. He also worked at Amazing Grace International School, where he rose to the rank of assistant headmaster due to his leadership qualities.

As a Project Officer at EcoCare Ghana, his work focuses on project implementation, monitoring, facilitation, engaging stakeholders, writing reports, keeping risk register and meeting project deadlines to ensure the successful implementation of projects. He holds a BSc. in Natural Resources Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
