Alfred has a background in communications, marketing and monitoring & evaluation and has worked in both the government sector and with NGOs. He was in charge of  EcoCare Ghana’s Communications from its formation and was instrumental in developing the setup.  Before joining EcoCare Ghana, he was a Public Relations and M&E specialist at National Health Insurance Scheme’s Greater Accra office. In his current role as M&E and Field Coordinator at EcoCare Ghana, he is responsible for coordinating EcoCare Ghana’s field activities, quality assurance, collecting data to track impact and outcomes of campaigns and field activities and distilling critical information to improve our interventions.

He has a bachelor’s in communication studies from the Christian Service University College in Kumasi, Ghana and a diploma in Newspaper reporting and Broadcast Journalism from the Institute of Commercial Management in the United Kingdom (ICM UK). He is passionate about community rights, sustainable natural resources management, climate-smart agriculture and policy reforms that address the needs of people.
